Please help me decide on two cameras to buy...

Hey all. I'm hoping to get some good advice here. I'm looking for two cameras, one for myself when I go travelling SE Asia for 6 months and one for my mum.

For myself, I started looking at tough cams and got keen on the Olympus TG4 but am not so certain it is that great a camera. Sure it has the awesome features of being almost bomb proof lol, but is it really that good an all round camera? I noticed that you couldn't really take a landscape shot and that might not...
