suggest me good digicam/compact slr with good quality pic

Hello,

I m using sony dsc hx7v since 3-4 years, but now i have nexus 6p which also give similar pictures...

So i want to buy new camara which have best quality images like SLR, but rather than SLR i want to buy camara which is compact & handy like digicam.

Any such camara ith quality of slr and handy like digicam?

I m not having much knowledge , so i dont know about lens type, shutter speed etc, so you guys advise what should i look befotre i buy new one.
