Use Canon Extender FD 2x-B with Canon T6i?

Can I use the Canon Extender FD 2x-B that I used with my Canon A-1 film camera with my new digital Canon EOS Rebel T6i camera with a Canon EF-S55-250 IS STM lens?

If I can, what things should I take into account when using it with the T6i?
